" Difficult to find in the dark but there is gate with name on it and they’ll open it for you to enter . Parking at mini-house. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. Deck with sun bathing area. Jet tub. Patio. Good wifi. Fans. Big zapper. Lots of bugs. Water was not always hot but warm. Great onsite hike with amazing views! Would come back!"

"Absolutely stunning place. As a photographer, it was hard to get through my head that a place like this can exist, with so much wildlife and scenery, without being staged. It was real and natural. Crossing the field to the restaurant, I was focused on a Parakeet up in the tree, then two Scarlet Macaws flew overhead and a Ringed Kingfisher showed up with a fish, just outside of the restaurant’s balcony! "The breakfast was basically the same day over day. There were warmers with beans/rice, scrambled eggs, dried-out chilaquiles, plantains, some sort of meat dish, and then fresh fruit. There was an omelet station and waffle station. There were various pastries and breads. Hotel otherwise was great - hot springs were well incorporated into the experience"

"My stay at sangregado lodge was great. The room was beautiful. It was raining a lot but we still had an opportunity to see the volcano straight from our room. Staff was very attentive and nice. We didn’t rent a car but we had access to shuttles and taxis that could take us anywhere. I think id recommend getting a car though as it might be a bit more cost efficient, but overall either is doable. There’s a lot of winding roads and there are no restaurants on the property so we had to travel about...

"Beautiful property with lush gardens & the best thermal pools we found in all of La Fortuna. For the price, you get a lot. The pools are exceptional. The location is perfect, just outside of town, but not too far. You can easily take a taxi to the center of town for under $10 dollars. The room are spacious & clean. "We stayed on the second floor and had a nice balcony with a view of the volcano which was beautiful. The room had a few inconveniences - there was no countertop by the sink for toiletries and the Wi-Fi was very poor. Also, be ready for an early wake-up as the birds start chirping around 5 a.m. and it’s a full-on orchestra. Overall, it was a nice place."

"Paradise was a totally unique resort and experience. We loved the hot springs with varying temperatures. Amenities at the resort were great including the coffee bar swim up bar and breakfast buffet. The staff was so friendly and helpful."
