"We had a great overnight stay here. It was so wonderful to experience a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The room had a great set up with tatami mats and sliding doors. Each night the staff came in and set up our futons for bed and in the morning, come in to put them away and served us breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and had so many delicious dishes that we were so full we didn't eat lunch. The onsen bath house was also the main reason we stayed here. They had a public bath and 2 private...

"Rooms were excellent, clean and very roomy. Onsen was great and well maintained. Only complaint is there is only one restaurant within walking distance. Everything is far and hilly, without a car this can be very inconvenient. The day we were there, it was raining and we could not even get a cab. Had to to walk 10 min to a bus stop and wait in the rain. Other than tat i highly recommend the hotel. "

"Very nice stay. Staff was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious. The onsen was absolutely magical. Not many restaurants near by that open past 8 so organize your meals accordingly. Also taxis can be quite difficult to get. Only issue was that the location on Hotels.com was wrong and it took us a while to find it as it isn’t written in English on google maps. But that is a very minor issue. "
