Hotels near Seo-dong Station, Busan

"This is a 3-star hotel. Definitely not 4-star by a very long shot. Check-in was chaotic and unprofessional; I booked two rooms, but during check-in I had to deal with two separate individuals, working on two tiny screens to fill in all info myself. One of the screens was malfunctioning. The check-in area itself is noisy and very busy and doesn’t allow for any privacy. The breakfast is mainly Korean cuisine. The “western” offerings are awful: disgusting “cheese” offerings, yogurt is a weird undefined sauce, “croissants” are a curious Koran concoction, and of course no honey being offered. The coffee from the machine is okay. My suggestion: skip the hotel “breakfast” and instead take the elevator to the first floor and buy some croissants at the bakery which doesn’t belong to the hotel. Overall a 2- to 3-star experience, considering this is a 3-star hotel. "

"We stayed at Kolon when we were in Busan. It is a bit confusing to find as there are different hotels all in one building, but the staff is helpful so not a big deal. We were upgraded so ended up with a one bedroom and the unit was huge, including a kitchen and a sitting area. The only problem was that the bathroom was tiny for a place that big. We could barely close the door to the bathroom. Regardless, the hotel was clean and well maintained. It is right at Haeundae Beach, so the views were great and the beach was right in front. It's also only a 15 min cab right to Gwangalli Beach which was great because we decided to go and see Gwangan-daegyo (Diamond Bridge) the first evening. It is also pretty central so easy to get to places from there."

"It had a nice buffet breakfast. There were a couple of issues with our room - the shower door wouldn’t stay shut and had to be held shut by hand during the shower. One of the electrical outlets didn’t work. We were able to manage though without having to change rooms after settling in. We liked the central location of the hotel. "

"We stayed 8 nights and had the best experience! The staff was kind and helpful with any recommendations including when my daughter got sick and needed to see doctor. The room was always clean and comfortable with plenty of space for 3 adults. We also enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffet when we needed a quick easy meal and didn’t want to go out. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone! It was a great location in walking distance to everything! "

"Beautiful property in Busan just steps from the beach with affinity pool overlooking the waterfront. Great location for restaurants and shopping. We were fortunate to see some of the artist designing in sand just days before the annual Sand Art Festival in mid-May."

"One bedroom had a thin mattress in the floor as a bed. Bath tub leaked so it could not be used. The frame around one of bedroom doors came off and almost hit me. There was a fee to use the pool and the gym. The person at the front desk barely spoke any English."
