Secondly the vehicle that the lodge uses to take you to the dunes is a open buggy used usually for game viewing..the ride to Deadvlei was very bumpy in this vehicles. And very cold in the morning with wind on your face. If you can arrange from outside a 4x4...

"The property was absolutely beautiful, well run and staff were great, the rooms are stunning. My issue wasn’t with the property but with the map on Expedia, it implies the property is very near the entrance to the park and the dot was not in the right place, it was a very long and dust road! So we were a little disappointed on the way there but we were happy when we eventually got there. If I’d known where it was when I booked this wouldn’t have bothered us"

"This was my first accomodation on my namibia trip and it was an amazing start. I thought the tents would just be simple, but it was great. It's a large tent with a full and real comfortable bed, some small furniture, a fan and a warm shower. The tents are slightly elevated and placed so that everyone has a private and amazing view of the landscape. The main lodge looks gorgeous as well."

"Positive: It’s a great place, great staff and it’s great place to stay before visiting Susvelei.they offer many tours and can help you with an itinerary and transportation as a package. Negative: the wifi didn’t work. Not sure if this is an on going issue or just when we were there. The pool water is extremely cold in the winter. I wish they had a way to warm the water or turn it into a Jacuzzi. I wish dinner included more traditional Namibian food options to try instead of mainly western food."
