"This property was clearly labeled as VIP Access on Expedia. At check-in, the hotel staff stated that they are not a VIP Access property and that no such benefits exist.
I also contacted the hotel through Expedia the day before arrival to request an early check-in. The hotel confirmed they never received the message.
At the front desk, early check-in was offered only if I paid extra to upgrade the room, despite the VIP Access labeling shown on Expedia.
This is a serious service failure. Properties should not be advertised as VIP Access if the hotel itself denies participation, and guest messages must be reliably delivered.
The experience caused confusion, wasted time at the front desk, and significantly damaged my trust in Expedia."
