Top stay in beautiful location

We had a fab stay in an apartment in the hotel. Loved the pool and service and had a wonderful time. The area is so stunning - views to the ocean and bay and the highlight was a boat trip to see the dolphins in the bay.

The location is excellent, but the hotel itself is neglected. The pool area is full of rust, and there is moss on the stairs. The staff is very disrespectful to customers in the way they speak except for the cleaning and restaurant staff, who are very nice.

Unfortunately, not worth the 5 stars. The hotel needs remodeling. In our room the curtains were broken, the sheets were dirty, air circulation in the bathroom didn’t work and wasn’t fixed during our two day stay. Troia nevertheless is beautiful and definitely worth the stay.

Clean spacious rooms, good staff, and decent breakfast. Hotel was a bit run down and it's definitely not a five star hotel. Very close to the ferry to Setabul which was very convenient. The beach was extremely beautiful. The gym was very basic, but the pool was great.

Booked Troia Design Hotel for 2 nights, the hotel property is gorgeous, (aside from mildly challenging to find the entrance). Room was quiet, nicely finished, with a great bathroom/shower. Air conditioning works as intended (important in Portugal in July) staff was helpful. Highly recommend the Blue & Green Design Hotel in Troia!

This is a nice hotel and very enjoyable for a short stay. There is lots to do in the area. We went on a couples holiday, but equally the whole family would have enjoyed it. Definitely would stay again.

We booked a premium appartment , terrace of room given was in front of an elevator , no privacy and noise . We asked to change , did wait until 17pm, but only got similar room . A pitty when we spent 1 night and could repeat next time . Hotel ok , good localisation but don’t deserve a 5* , only a 4 minus .

Ao fazer o check-in o hotel estava sem sistema apesar de terem acesso aos meus dados e informação. Cheguei às 14h30 e só me entregaram o quarto às 17h30. Compreendo que tenha sido uma situação excepcional, mas de uma forma geral não considero o hotel nem a minha experiência do serviço digna de um hotel de 5 estelas. Serviço mediano, comodidades medianas, espaço nada de impressionante. Tenho a ressalvar que a oferta do peq-almoço era boa. De uma forma geral não vale a pena a diferença de valor entre este hotel (que supostamente é de 5 estrelas) para um outro hotel de 4 estrelas, visto que o serviço e espaço são idênticos. Não recomendo, nem pretendo voltar.

Correu tudo muito bem, exceto o estacionamento que segundo referiram na Recepção, pelo facto da estadia não ter sido reservada diretamente através do próprio hotel, não poderia ser gratuita, tendo um custo de 10€/dia. Não achei muito aceitável porque na verdade o hóspede paga o valor diretamente no hotel e fica alojado no mesmo, devendo ter direito a estacionamento do próprio hotel.
