"First of all- the room was super great. It was nice having a full kitchen and a living room area, and it was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was clean and comfortable enough. Having a washer and dryer in the room was awesome.
What was not clear from Expedia is that The Code is not really a hotel, it is condos that are being air bnb'ed by a company called Avant. This was slightly weird, because it wasn't really set up like a hotel. Cleaning during your stay is an extra fee, and...

"Overall, we felt like this hotel was a good value for the money. The location was very convenient, about 10 minutes from downtown, with an H-E-B not far from the hotel. The neighborhood is still developing and a little rough around the edges, but we felt safe during our stay.
The room itself was nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were on the train-track side of the building, so we did hear trains coming through during the day, but thankfully it wasn’t an issue at night....
