This property is the nicest in town currently. It's location can't be beat with downtown 1 block away and the seaside center 2 blocks away. And some rooms have great views of the sound.

Great location, close to the water and walkable to many restaurants and shops. Lobby has good atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to try breakfast. Room was a little outdated and bathroom was small. Hotel served the purpose for what we needed. The waterfront rooms had great views.

This property is not well maintained. I paid extra for a sea view, but it is obstructed. I was also given a room on the first floor that had a balcony which seemed like someone could lift themselves up to crawl inside. It has window units instead of central air, and the old unit is very noisy. It kept me awake all night along with the uncomfortable bed too. I also had an issue with the toilet clogging and I was informed that was pretty normal because they're old. It took several hours to get someone to my room to unclog the toilet.

The location is perfect. I would stay here again based on that alone. The hotel needs some updating, small bathroom/sink area. Good and helpful staff. You have to request housekeeping, which isn’t a big deal but no one told us that so we were confused when we didn’t have any service after the first few days of our stay.
