"The Anchor @ Hidden Harbor is a true gem of Deale, MD. Great staff, clean & functional rooms, the boathouse restaurant & bar just outside the front door. Great for families and boaters! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Deale. "

"The property is in a great location. Plenty to do in the area without having to drive. Unfortunately the staff are less than helpful. We checked out at 11am. At 12 noon, we realized we left a bag hanging from the bathroom door. Called, staff said they wou look into it. Took down my number and address. Called them back a few hours later and they claim no one turned in a bag. Hello, the cleaning staff was going in this room before the next guest at 4pm and the receptionist could have called...

"The hot tub was out of service. The restaurant was never open when we wanted to dine there. The bathroom in the room had an odor. Otherwise the stay was suitable for the couple of nights my husband and I stayed."

"Everything was perfect at this hotel. From Kim, at check-in, to having access to The Bistro until 10PM for snacks and beverages, coffee and cocktails, it was perfect. Incredibly clean and well maintained. The furniture in the rooms was high-end and beautiful. the rugs throughout were spotless. The sleeper sofa in our room was brand new, comfortable and just so appealing and pleasant. We asked for a late check out as we had a court case in Annapolis and they kindly extended check out for us....

"The only complaint I have about this place was the floors in the room. The bottoms of my feet were black every night. The floors were not carpeted, just not clean. Getting the room cleaned had to be requested and I will admit I did not request."

"One elevator didn’t work and the other elevator was unreliable. The restaurant is closed. The hallway and rooms feel more like a 1970’s Best Western - well worn and not without a musty odor. The HVAC in room 518 is either off or cooling the room to 65 degrees (nothing in the middle). It’s an older property and ,other than scraping it, I don’t know how you could correct all of the issues."
