"This booking was a miss reservation was trying to book Gainsville GA, not Gainsville FL. Realized the error upon confirmation and tried to correct via Expedia virtual agent. Expedia many years ago gave customers the ability to reach a live agent now they do not. I could have explained in the past the error and cancelled within minutes with a live agent. I paid for two hotel stays the same night even after contacting Expedia under a minute of receiving confirmation. Being a Platinum Member is...

"Great location! Able to walk to many restaurants and bars! Definitely showing wear and tear. Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. Would stay here again just for the location and price."

"Great little hotel in the heart of Gainesville, newly renovated! My wife and I stopped in cause we were passing through, we enjoyed walking to some great restaurants at night and enjoyed the coffee in the morning. Good place for a quick stay! I love how they took an old motel and made it new again with tons of character."

"This hotel needs renovation and updates to their Air conditioners. You can smell mold the second you open the rooms doors. The AC units are from the 19th century that are so so so loud that you can’t sleep at all, and barely work. We had to keep our room’s door open from couple hours to cool down. It was hot and humid and moldy. This hotel takes advantage of its location to charge so much !! Will never stay there again!!!"

"Overall, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. Location was okay as well. The biggest concern which is now the 2nd time staying Quality Inn in Gainesville with the same experience is the smell of mold and humidity in the room. The AC unit pumps this smell all night and this is now the second time that we get stick from staying at a Quality Inn in Gainesville because of this awful smell and air quality."

"Do not stay here ! Half the building is burned and the rooms look like it’s from a horror movie. No bathing towels however would not shower in this place and the floors were never cleaned . This was the last place with available vacancy for a concert however we slept enough to leave early to get on the road and get out of there . The front desk lady was so nice though we loved her ."
