Disappointing service for a property of this level. There was no assistance with luggage upon arrival, and the front desk staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The room was missing basic amenities (no face towels, no laundry detergent), and the Wi-Fi did not work. When I called for help, assistance was rushed, and later calls to the front desk went unanswered multiple times.
At check-out, staff at the front desk saw me and my daughter with luggage but did not offer any help. Management later acknowledged the issues, but the overall experience fell far below expectations. I chose to stay elsewhere for the rest of my trip.
To their credit, management later responded to my email complaint and acknowledged the issues, but the overall service experience left a very poor impression. Given the consistent lack of attentiveness and hospitality, I decided to move to another hotel for the remainder of my stay in Shanghai.
