"A three star review for this hotel might seem to go against the grain, as the rooms were beautiful, the individual staff very friendly and helpful and the hotel spotlessly clean. However, I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel before our trip and never received a response, which I did not find to be acceptable. Our check in process was not very smooth and rushed and a couple of times we were shown to previously used tables only to be sat down and have them cleaned there and then with crumbs brushed off the table on to us. I don’t find those issues becoming of a 5 star hotel, hence, the mark down on my rating. The food in the individually booked restaurants was very good, but I found the buffet food not quite as good as I would have hoped. The food and staff at the beach restaurant were excellent, as was the team running the scuba diving centre. I did try to address my concerns while I was at the hotel, but felt like I received excuses rather than solutions. Maybe because of the size of the operation, the ability to look after an individual guest issue is lost somewhat, but my expectations for a 5 star hotel are to be wowed, not brushed off. I was promised by the manager that we would leave after our stay thinking it was a 7 star hotel. Unfortunately this was not the case and instead we left thinking we had significantly overpaid for what we were hoping was going was going to be a holiday of a lifetime experience in a 5 star setting. "
"I went all inclusive. So many food options albeit not always that flavoursome for my taste. However I didn’t starve. The SPA is a must and good value. Plenty of space per person with an adult pool. The location is perfect. Highly recommended. "
"This resort and its staff are the best anyone could ask for. Our deluxe room with its walkout entrance was perfect. The resort was beautiful and the staff looked after our every need. The pool staff served free snacks throughout the day around the pool and were really pleasant to deal with. The only negatives were that the meal prices charged by the hotel in the hotel restaurants were too high. They were 2 to 3 times what nice restaurants in the local Soho Mall charged for a similar meal. You can easily walk to the Soho Mall which is close to the hotel. The only other issue which was outside the hotel's control was that it was too cold to swim in the ocean using the hotel's beach. We went in late March 2026 and the water was still too cold to swim in for too long. Except for the meal prices, this hotel was 10 out of 10. "
"This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had.
Upon arrival, the room had visible mold and serious cleanliness issues. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition, with greasy shower walls that had clearly not been properly cleaned. These conditions raised immediate health concerns.
I reported the issue to the hotel, and a staff member was sent to address it. They attempted to clean the mold along the edges of the tub using a toilet brush and advised that it was not mold. However, the issue was not properly resolved, and the condition remained concerning.
I was then offered another room, but that room also had visible mold, which I showed to the staff member at the time. This made it clear that the problem was not isolated and that the property was unable to provide a clean or safe alternative.
Given these conditions, I had no reasonable choice but to leave the hotel and book another stay at my own expense.
This experience reflects serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and quality control. I strongly recommend that these concerns be addressed before accepting future guests."
