"The Stella di Mare is a fabulous hotel and our stay here was perfect. The service given by all members of staff was impeccable, the room was lovely with a panoramic sea view and a comfortable bed, and the food was varied and delicious, including the option of a wonderful outdoor grill in the evenings.
Best of all for me, the house reef was incredible with all kinds of colourful fish seen close-up during snorkelling. (We’d planned on doing a boat-based snorkelling trip but decided there was no need as the house reef was so good!).
The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pools were lovely, and nicely heated as it was winter (the top pool with swim-up-bar was almost hot!). There were always sun loungers available and a chilled vibe prevailed throughout, making it a really relaxing holiday. We took the free shuttle into Sharm for a more lively evening and shopping one night.
I honestly cannot fault this hotel - a truly 5 star experience in every way."
"Lovely warm pools
Delicious food throughout
Particularly enjoyed the Seafood restaurant on the beach
AbdelRamid was excellent in the buffet restaurant
Highly recommended 🙏"
"Overall we had a great stay. A few niggles in that we hadn’t been told that our room would have exception noise levels at night due to the relocation of entertainment for New Year, the celebrations went on for several days.We were already several days into our stay and didn’t really want to move so we just put up with it but it was insanely loud until very late, which I didn’t expect from a high end resort. We probably wouldn’t choose Rixos again because of this because we were told that they do market specially as ‘the party never ends’ at this time of year. And we hadn’t bargained on an 18-30s type experience.
However, food was exceptional, the new year banquet was the most opulent display I’ve ever seen. Resort is beautiful and suite was enormous, if a little tired. Cleaning staff are pushy for good google reviews but they did a reasonable job. Everything else was great.
We did a dive/snorkel trip with Pyramid diving from the resort and that was exceptionally well organised and great value "
"It was okay. However we had an issue when booking the taxi for Dahab. The taxi driver told us to withdraw cash at the ATM, which we did but then refused to take us to Dahab and told us to pay at reception. Reception said they wont accept the egyption currency as they only accept euros which makes no sense. The taxi driver then argues with reception after overcharging us to take us to Dahab because he simply did not want to in arabic. Instead of apologising for the inconvenience, the reception staff started being rude to me and blaming me that its my fault I wanted to go to Dahab, that I wont get in as I need visa. I found this so rude and disrespectful. Bare in mind, I asked them for change as I was going to pay the taxi driver over by 20 EGP and the reception staff said “that’s nothing.” It was unbelievable. Instead of offering customer service and apologising, i was being blamed and honestly being scammed by the taxi service. I dont reccomend this place and I wont be staying here again, I’m unsure why it is 5*s when it’s really not, it’s 3* at most. Even housekeeping was atrocious, there was no dental kits in the bathroom and we waited for 90 minutes for it to be delivered. "
"The hotel itself is stunning and very picturesque. The property is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels luxurious. The hotel is also very clean, and the staff are polite and welcoming.
However, the vegetarian options are extremely limited. The only choices available were grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rice. There was a pasta station, but for an all-inclusive resort, you would expect a much wider variety of vegetarian dishes.
Communication was also challenging at times. Many staff members struggled to understand English and often relied on AI to communicate. Even something as simple as requesting a cup of oat milk became unnecessarily difficult.
Overall, the hotel is visually impressive with great servic, but the limited vegetarian options and communication barriers made the experience less seamless than expected. "
"We stayed for a week in one of the rooms looking over the Red Sea in the Posh Club. The room was spotless and spacious. The staff were fantastic in every respect. We enjoyed all of the restaurants. The transfers to and from the airport were flawless. The laundry service was outstanding. We definitely would love to come back. Thanks to Hanna, Hassan and many others who made the stay special. The Spa and message therapy was also wonderful. "

"Room was dirty, worn down, and full of mosquitoes. Resort itself was subpar, not really the greatest. The area it’s in, is nice. Walkable distance to soho market. "
