"We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. We were totally satisfied and I strongly recommend this place."

"Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay."

It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri.
