"This hotel has just been taken over by new owners the staff were saying, so are putting a lot of money into it to get it up to 4 star. The staff were so helpful, my room was great ,and with the improvements it'll only get better. What a location too, loved we were looking out over the ocean, and an easy walk into town. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back."

"The hotel is behind in their maintenance jobs. The bathroom faucet never stopped dripping and the sliding door to the balcony couldn’t open. I called the desk downstairs twice for someone to come to my room to fix the jammed lock. They couldn’t fix it so I just left the door unlocked. I injured my left hip and I’m still dealing with the pain of inflammation. I may have see my doctor when I get back home. The door to my room on the second floor was very hard to open. "Good location and spacious executive rooms with lounge access which is very good. Breakfast and lounge food were good. However hotel and furnishings were quite dated and no longer provide the luxury feel of shangrila. Time for a revamp..."
