"This place was exactly what I needed with my 2 dogs on our drive between the Gold Coast and the Whitsundays. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet once I went to sleep, I do sleep with earplugs in otherwise you may hear some noise from the Highway and trains. The only downfall was the shower pressure was painful - one spout came out so strong it felt like razor blades to my skin and the rest was dribbling so I was unable to enjoy a shower. I brought this up with the staff...

"We stayed for 3 nights in total and we loved it. The manager was fantastic, quickest and easiest check-in ever! The room was lovely, bright and clean. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor which had a patio door accessing a lovely grassed area for the dogs to play. Our only critique would be the scent in the room which we found slightly overpowering. We loved the local Canoe Point off leash dog beach and were so impressed by the surrounding amenities. Gladstone marina was another...

"Unfortunately, my stay at this motel with my family was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this place. The room and furniture appeared very dusty and poorly maintained. The chair was visibly dirty, with dust and marks across the seat and back, which made it uncomfortable to use. The facilities were also inadequate. There wasn’t even a wine glass available, and the bar fridge was so small that you couldn’t comfortably fit even a couple of small bottles of water. The toilet was also...

"Do not stay here! As I had stayed here a few years ago, I didn’t read recent reviews. The motel is used for somewhere to stay for homeless people. The room was poorly maintained, unclean and nothing like pictures shown. The random people coming and going through the night, with no consideration to guests paying for accommodation made it very difficult to sleep. This motel should not be allowed to be used for paid guest accommodation. Avoid at all costs."
