"Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s.
At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?"

"Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. I recommend staying at this hotel."

"Excellent hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very nice size and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or the breakfast, but the gym was very well appointed. The best part is the awesome location. Just blocks away from Tower of London and right next door to the medieval St. Olaf'a church. Highly recommend getting a tour of that as well.

"Le meilleur buffet déjeuner que j’ai vu. Un choix de nourriture variée et excellent. Le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment très gentil et serviable. Le lit très confortable et les commodités de la salle de bain vraiment très bien. De plus aucun bruit venant du couloir ou des autres chambres ne nous a dérangé. "This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The rooms are like prison cells. My room had urine on the floor, dirty towels and an unmade bed. "De ligging van het hotel is fantastisch. Het personeel was vanaf het inchecken tot uitchecken super vriendelijk. Bij uitchecken werd mij zelfs nog een drankje voor onderweg aangeboden. Ik had echt het gevoel gewaardeerd te worden als gast. De kamers zijn een beetje gehorig maar buiten dat is alles perfect. Als je dan de prijs en locatie in gedachten houdt mag je niet klagen. Het ontbijt is ook vers en gevarieerd dus het hotel heeft echt alles wat je voor een paar nachten nodig hebt."
