"I reserved a Newly Renovated Resort Tower King room for extra $. All that seemed to be renovated in the room was the furniture. The room finishes did not seem newly renovated. The plumbing is awful. Drains did not drain, old non-renovated toilet did not flush easily (had to hold down the handle to flush), and hardly any water comes out of the shower head."
"Was on the 23rd floor took more than 20 mins of running water to get hot and the ac in room was not secure to wall very well you could see outside from side of it. Other than that was very nice "
"Beautiful hotel. Over 2 hours to finally access our room. In-person staff was excellent. However, phone Guest Services staff often gave erroneous information. Many restaurants seemed to close early. Tough to find a late evening drink + real food vs. chips/nuts."
"Luxor is dated and the rooms in the pyramid have not changed in 30 years. The check-in process was poor! All the MGM group hotels have moved to a self check in system. It allows you to tap your phone if you have a credit card on it. It says it’s successful, yet when go to pickup your room keys it says payment declined. So you have to go through the whole checkin process again. Then it proceeds to double charge you. Not a great experience. They also charge you a resort fee of $45 per day per room. I don’t know what this is for as there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. They have removed all mini fridges as well and you have to pay for parking. The pool area was under construction so you couldn’t use it plus you have to self check in. Other than wifi there’s nothing else you get for your $45. Absolute money grab!"
"The Paris is located in the heart of the Vegas Strip. It's convenient to lots of casinos as well as the Sphere for concerts. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. I will advise that if you get a room with a "Strip" view be prepared for noise all night long. We were warned at check-in, but the noise was a bit louder than I expected. I can sleep through anything, so it wasn't an issue. We tried Alexxa for breakfast, and it was good. Even if the line seems long, they get you in pretty quickly. Be forewarned, drinks at the pool are not cheap. Drinks at most bars are also not cheap. My typical Jack Daniels on ice was generally somewhere between $15-22 for a single. I normally pay $8-10 and get better pours at my home bar. The trick is to go to the casino bars, pump a few quarters into the video poker and they will usually get you drinks for free. You can also get free drinks if you gamble. The best trick is to sit at a slot machine and wait till the server comes up. Then you can drink pretty cheaply (as long as you don't lose too much gambling). "
