This place is amazing. The lady owner is really nice and helpful. Facilities are top, the room/ bathroom are impeccable. I can go on and on. Definitely to recommend and hopefully will come back again.

Such a beautiful property. Daily breakfast was exceptional. The owners were incredibly gracious. The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. The cost was low especially compared to the overall value of staying somewhere so special.

We had a great stay at this property in June 2024. The setting was terrific surrounded by vineyards. The property is well maintained, the room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts were very attentive. The property has a very nice pool. Of note, it is about 25 km from Agrigento in a rural location and we had some difficulty locating it. For reference, it is just off the exit to Bovo Marina. But we would gladly stay at this property again.

What a tranquil oasis. Benina and Roberto have worked so hard to create this stunning 12 bedroom sanctuary. We loved everything about it. Rooms: we had room 8, within the main building. Huge, spacious room with a massive terrace that is completely private. This looks over the vineyard and to the side the pool area. We had a sofa, which can become a bed for a family. A walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with wonderful shower. Amenities and bathrobes are provided. Tea and coffee station, fridge with water, soft drinks and white wine. Red wine on the side... Yes the wine is all literally produced downstairs. The facilities: a large pool terrace with wonderful views over the countryside. They have a spa area with jacuzzi and suana to enjoy. The infinity pool is just wonderful. If staying a few nights you will be invited to a dinner evening. We are always happy to try new things. We weren't disappointed at all. A short tour of the wine making process and bottling here. Benina leads this tour and it's great to understand the passion they have for their main business. The 6 course, yes SIX course meal is exquisite. All enjoyed with wine pairing and tasting. The food was all vegetarian which is great as it caters for all customers. We had no idea how much it would cost, but it was very well priced for what we experienced. We enjoyed every course, but don't eat lunch... The owners: this wonderful and friendly Italian couple have poured their Sicilian passion into this business.

Beautiful winery with lovely guests rooms and a stunning view. We were fortunate to stay when an amazing dinner was offered to guests and it included a very fun and informative tour of the wine production facility. The daily breakfast buffet that was included offered a generous amount of delicious food, and the pool/spa area was another highlight. The family as well as their staff were so welcoming, and I very much recommend this agritourism opportunity to everyone traveling in the area!

The hostess was gracious, charming and accommodating. The supper and tour of the winery facilities were personable, enjoyable and welcoming. The breakfast included plenty of fresh foods, fruit and pastries.The pool was very clean. The view from the pool and the room was bucolic. The beaches nearby around Torre Salsa were the most spectacular ones we visited in all of Sicily. Highly recommended overall.

We absolutely loved Baglio Caruana. It represented everything we imagined a country retreat in Italia should be. From the beautiful structure of the buildings to the pool area and the fact it is surrounded by Vinyards. Molto bella!

Little corner of paradise

Incredibly beautiful setting, infinity pool with views across acres and acres of mountains and fields. Rooms are so nicely decorated, with great air con, and other facilities. The owners are so helpful and friendly, and the wine is tremendous. Breakfast is delicious, with freshly baked savoury tarts and sweet cakes every single day. The courtyard at the centre of the hotel smells of jasmine in the evening, which is heavenly. There is also one of the most sweet natured dogs you could ever hope to meet.

Baglio Caruana has been an excellent experience for us. After our second “tour of Italy” we decided to close our trip with quite a few days in a relaxing winery. From the moment you arrive the Caruana family make you feel welcome and at home. The room was perfect in size and very modern inside. The wine tasting was great, paired with some typical Sicilian food cooked on premise. The place is pretty secluded, bringing peace and harmony to your vacation, but 5 minutes away from the beach and incredible restaurants. Aside from all the positives, the owners friendliness set them apart from everything else. The best in Sicily.

Très bel établissement Le couple vous accueillera chaleureusement avec un verre de vin de leur production offert en dégustation Très beau buffet de petit déjeuner Petit bémol sur la chambre car nous avions réservé une chambre avec terrasse et nous n’en n’avions pas. Malgré tout, la chambre était confortable et spacieuse. Très bon repas le soir (pas tous les jours) avec des spécialités locales et le vin de leur production.

Das beste Frühstück, das wir bislang auf Sizilien genießen durften. Aufenthalt mit Erlebnischarakter: inklusive Führung durch die Weinproduktion und Verkostung. Freundliche Gastgeber, moderne Zimmer, wunderbarer Blick von Terrasse und Balkon, großzügiger Pool. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zum Strand (gute Fischrestaurants!), 5 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Ort mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Ideal auch für Exkursionen ins Tal der Tempel oder Scala Turchi.
