Modestly clean and convenient for the purpose of this trip and economy situation. Swimming pool and steamed room is excellent for down time. Staff got full score at 5, friendly, helpful,polite and professional. Pick up to and from hotel and airport is the most helpful foe me.

The name apparently changed to a new one. Good thing driver from airport knew where to go so we didn’t get lost. It’s like an old style hotel but clean and safe. Staff are friendly but kinda hard to communicate. Close to pub street walking distance.

Lovely staff and good location

The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely people. Good atmosphere and location. However, my room was very dark with very steep steps to climb and the door was hard to lock. Perhaps it could do with redecorating in the bedroom and bathroom and better lighting.

Lovely hotel in the centre, French colonial building. Only potential drawback is that the stairs are steep - although that is practice for the archeological sites.

Great location away from the main road. Very quiet except for a brief moment where a dog was barking. The pool is very nice however the sauna and steam room did not appear to be functioning. The room was spacious, I loved hanging around the balcony. The bed was a bit basic but did the job. The washroom could've used a little bit of updating. The staff was amazingly friendly. They arranged all my transportation needs and provided a yummy breakfast box when I couldn't attend in person. Would visit this hotel again for sure!

One of the friendliest places we have ever stayed at. I had been before many years ago and it was fabulous then, and still is. It was an absolute pleasure. It is close to the centre, but quiet, two pools, brilliant staff and we wished we could have stayed much longer...They even met us at the airport. Felt so welcome....10 days was not enough.

Excellent service! The staff was very respectful. I felt like an honored guest. Free tuk-tuk airport pickup and return was helpful. We used the same tuk tuk driver throughout our stay (Mr. Sim). This is not a fancy place. But the stay was very enjoyable because of the exceptional staff.

Do not hesitate to book this place!

Honestly, my expectations were pretty darn low for how budget-friendly this was on my wallet but this place was beyond extraordinary! From the complimentary tuk-tuk to and from the airport, to the breakfast, and to the amenities...dang! Upon check-in we were immediately given an ice cold tea with traditional sweet potato chips. Because the hotel does not have an elevator, the staff transported our luggage to our room which was a life-saver since my best friend packed a huge suitcase that was really heavy. The breakfast was a traditional buffet-style with an omelet station and staff members were available to serve fresh coffee which was very nice. The front desk staff members were beyond professioinal and made our stay incredibly comfortable. Thank you Golden Banana Residence for making my Khmer New Year amazing! I will for sure be booking with you guys next time!

The most impressive thing about this place is the staff. You genuinely kind and interested and helpful in every way. It started off with a free tuk-tuk shuttle from the airport and continued The pools were nice and cool which helped with the heat. It is in an excellent location close to high-end as well as funkiness. Room was comfortable tho is a little bit dated this in no way took away our enjoyment of the property. We will be back

Great finf in Siem Reap

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome. Dara (the manager) got us all a drink and then laid out all the services the hotel had to offer. He did this is a matter of fact way, not at all pushy or hard sell. We did use the services of his guide and tuk-tuk driver for our visits to Angkor and they were superb in every way. This hotel is excellent. Highly recommended.

Private Pool in Room

This hotel offers a private pool in the room. It’s pretty cool! The location is walking distance to several main attractions. The breakfast is delicious! The only concern is that there was construction happening in neighboring building and it was EXTREMELY loud (from 7:30AM to 8PM). Also, we needed assistance to get to Siem Reap and they were not very helpful. We walked to hotel next door and they were very friendly and helped us. I would stay at this hotel again, but call to inquire about construction.
