"Much nicer than photos show! The pool surrounds and bar area were lovely, perfectly framing Sigiriya Rock. The dining area and breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a little awkward to negotiate but overall fine. Staff were very friendly. "

"Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...

"What a wonderful place. The staff is absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. Nice and clean room (we stayed in the Deluxe room) The food is REALLY good if you like the lokal cuisine, you have to try It!! Only minus was a lack of other guests, due to the covid situation😕 More People would make the athmosphere here even better😊"

"This was the best home stay we have ever experienced! Danesh and his family were so welcoming and helpful and it was lovely to get to know them over our 5 day stay. Danesh organised various activities for us including seeing wild elephants, a cooking class, and a bike ride. He also helped with booking tuk tuks and taxis whenever we needed.
