"I have stayed at many Fairmont properties, and they are usually "best in class." The Miramar Hotel is not. It is tired, run down and felt very old. It was also dirty and the elevators didn't work for long periods of time. Bad stay. "

"Nearby restaurants within a mile. For an older property that has been renovated, this is a very good value for the price. It feels safe and have 24 hour security. There is a restaurant onsite but didn't try it. The staff is professional and courteous. If you get a room that is facing the freeway, it could be a bit noisier but bearable. "

"Parking was easy and close, staff was very friendly especially young man when I checked in Saturday night. I should have listened to the reviews though because the room was filthy. My son got 10 bug bites on his back in the first hour just laying on the bed. No conditioner, so much noise above us! I could not sleep and just wanted to get through the night and get the heck out of there!!!’ I let the receptionist know when I checked out and she just apologized nothing more. I should have just paid 75 more bucks to stay at the Sheraton!!!! "
