Til prisen er dette et rigtig godt hotel. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme. Værelserne var pæne og rene. Vi ankom meget sent en søndag, og vi blev taget godt imod. Morgenmaden er rigtig god. Der er fine parkeringsfaciliteter, men adgangsvejene til parkeringspladsen er meget stejle. Vi ankom med en minibus med anhænger i snevejr, som var lidt af et problem. For en personbil er det dig ikke noget problem. Internet virker fint.

Rummet o dusch ok, väldig fin utsikt. Frukost ingick inte trots att det står så. Hotels fixade det. Ligger lite avsides, men 10 min bilfärd (Bad Brukenau), så finns matställen o tankställe.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Früstück. Zimmer mit Balkon. Nicht das Neuste, aber gute Betten, alles i.O. Schöner Ausblick Es gab ein Problem mit der Buchung. Ich habe mit Frühstück bei hotels.com gebucht, beim Wirt (über expaedia gebucht) stand ohne Frühstück. Ich habe dann zugezahlt. Hotels.com hat auf mein Schreiben nicht reagiert. Sehr unbefriedigend.

Als wir ankamen, waren keine Zimmer verfügbar trotz bestätigte Buchung. Wir mussten uns neue Zimmer in einem anderen Hotel suchen. Deshalb können wir keine Details beurteilen. So etwas kann passieren. Was uns endgültig aufgebracht hat, war der "Service" von Expedia. Mehr als eine Stunde haben wir versucht, die nicht vorhandenen Zimmer zu stornieren, die Homepage lässt keine Stornierung zu und auch keinen Kontakt zu einem Menschen. Man muss sich mit einen sehr beschränkten und stören Bot herumschlagen, der höchstens verspricht, wenn man eine App installiert, wird alle gut. Dem werde ich meine Daten noch zufüttern! Nicht auszudenken, was bei Expedia passiert, wenn man als Kunde mal wirklich Hilfe braucht. Dieses Risiko werden wir jedenfalls nicht mehr eingehen. Bei Expedia werden wir nicht mehr buchen, es gibt genug andere.

This place was closed for the day, Thursday, my reservation date. Both the front and side doors had signed posted in German stating RUHE TAG. In german that means closed inspite of my reservation. Repeated knocking on both the front and side doors received no respone. Avoid this place at all cost.

Schattenkanzel; Übernachtung 3 Sterne minus

Garantierte Buchung? Leider nein: Das gebuchte Zimmer mit Balkon und schönem Ausblick war nicht verfügbar, dafür gab es eine "Abstellkammer im Dachgeschoss" mit Mini-Fenster (das ließ sich leider nicht ganz öffnen, um den muffigen Geruch aus dem Zimmer zu bekommen) zum "Sonderpreis". Ist wohl keine Ausnahme: Siehe andere Bewertungen: Man kann ja woanders hin....(haben wir leider zu spät gelesen). Wer keine Ansprüche an eine gepflegte Unterkunft hat, wer seine Schuhe im Zimmer lieber anlässt, weil im Teppich vermutlich noch einige Untermieter leben, wem Ungeziefer im Zimmer nichts ausmacht (bei unserer Ankunft waren min. 50 Fliegen hinter dem Vorhang am Fenster), wem am spärlichem Frühstück die Fliegen auf den nicht abgedeckten(!!!) Speisen wie Butter, Wurst oder Fleischsalat nichts ausmachen, wer mit dem unprofessionellen Umgang mit Gästen und dem rüden Umgangston gegenüber Kindern (TÜR ZU!!!...da fehlte uns Verständnis für kleine Kinder und ein "Bitte" bei der Aufforderung) auskommt und wer gerne 4 mal ein Stückchen Kuchen bestellt, um es danach tatsächlich doch noch einmal bekommt, der erfreut sich hier bestimmt eines besonderen Aufenthaltes. Für uns hier völlig unverständlich: positive Bewertungen. Pluspunkte: Schmackhafter Kuchen aus der Kühlvitrine und die örtliche Nähe zum Staatsbad Bad Brückenau. Leider waren die dortigen Hotels ausgebucht und nur noch die Sonnenkanzel frei. Wir wissen jetzt, weshalb. Keine Weiterempfehlung!!!

We arrive to the hotel less than one hour after we made the reservation, they didn’t even open the door or answer when we were ringing and there was a light in a room just above the main door and in the lobby, then her neighbors called her by telephone and I talked to her, she was very rude and just told me, that it was Sold Out, good night and hanged the telephone call, it was impossible because when I made the reservation there were 2 available rooms and in that moment that she just cut the called, I checked and still one available room. Besides other thing, when I looked to the hotel, we were searching for a hotel in Fulda and we had to drive 38 kilometers from Fulda downtown. Please take that hotel out of the Orbitz list. I have been using Orbitz from long time, please refund my money in to my account and answer this letter directly to me, thanks a lot. Best Regards Antonio Dagnino.
