"We had a fantastic week’s holiday in Sintra. The hotel was perfectly located for a stroll into town and easy access the great restaurants, cafes and the sights of Sintra. Brill ice cream from Mica’s just outside the hotel. Easy train ride to Lisbon and the beach for day trips. The staff were very helpful and excellent service in particular Joao. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast full of choice everyday ready for hikes and touring about. "

"The host was extremely friendly and helpful, especially with tips for getting to the Palace of Sintra. The place is very convenient right in the center of town. Even though we stayed for only one night, we would definitely stay there again. "

"Really comfortable hotel with beautiful views from the balcony. Our room (think it was Orange Blossom) was beautifully decorated and well provisioned. The honesty bar was a nice touch and very useful as there weren't any late night convenience stores that we found."

"LuXa Charm house is absolutely excellent value. Big rooms with en-suites, totally capturing Sintra’s style. Our room had window views to the moorish castle. The only issue is ordering Bolt Taxis or Ubers to the property, at peak times the taxi will not be allowed by the local authorities to stop outside the accommodation, so you will likely have to walk into town for that. Not a big issue at all. "

"This hotel is a little oasis from the hustle of town. We had a beautiful view of the mountain and the three main palaces. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered by basket to our room at our chosen time. Parking was included which was a selling point as parking in Sintra is very limited. Town is only a 5-10 minute walk away, but it is up an extremely steep hill. Not easy for anyone out of shape or with mobility issues. Walls between rooms are a little thin, but a fairly quiet stay!
