Go to a B & B instead

Unfortunate “renovation” of lovely old building took all the charm and character and trashed it for artificial surfaces, ugly bland furnishings, and tiny cell-like rooms. Do hotels really get stars for having a pool table or a shiny plastic chandelier? Sad. Front desk staffed by cheerful young woman, which was the only saving grace of an empty town and depressing hotel.

SÄ nöjda!

JÀttefint hotell som vi var mycket nöjda med. LÀste en del recensioner innan och hade inga högre förvÀntningar men det övertrÀffade allt. Rent och snyggt, supertrevlig personal i bÄde reception och resturang, jÀttebra mat i restaurangen som Àven fixade och Àndrade efter barnens önskemÄl. Frukosten var OK. JÀttesköna sÀngar och kuddar. Kommer definitivt bo dÀr igen om vi besöker Skara.

Hotel med fina gemensamhetsutrymmen, och underbar Lerin-samling. I den Àldre slitna delen satt fortfarande röklukt kvar i korridormattorna. Rummen var vÀl hyfsat okej. Lite trist utsikt mot bakgÄrden med slammer frÄn containern. Men sÄ Àr det vÀl med ekonomi-rum.
