"Enjoyed our time spent and the lodging. The location was perfect as a base for our itinerary in the region. Good dinner recommendations that worked out well and we loved the hike that starts right from the hotel. Would stay here again if we make it back to the area (which we certainly hope to do)."

"Emplacement et vue idéaux , place de parking incluse dans le prix de la chambre . L’ équipement de la cuisine est minimaliste ( 1 poêle, 1 casserole ), salle de bain : il manque la porte de douche , de l’ eau répandue sur tout le sol. Concernant la taille de la chambre pour 4 : 1 m de distance entre les lits superposés et le lit double collé au mur . Pour 1 nuit c’ est bien , manque de confort pour 1 séjour plus long"

"FURU hostel is a nicely located place. We had booked it a month in advance to stay there for one night: an apartment with kitchen and bathroom. Plus a 2 hr sauna session. Overall our stay was nice. We enjoyed the clean and well arranged premises and we loved the sauna. The place is located a 2 minute walk from a fjord lake. The small wooden sauna house is right on the shore, by the water. There is one thing we didn't like - the checkin. So we had been driving all day, from 7:30 am. When we finally arrived about 16:45 we felt quite tired and in bad need of a rest, especially me as I did all the driving. And our sauna was starting at 17:30. But no. Instead I was told to log into another OTP account and confirm the authorisation for them to charge my card. I said I hadn't booked it on that OTP but on this one. But the staff politely instisted that I look for an email, which I couldn't find on my phone. That was stressful. So I asked that he give us the keys and that I would look on my laptop rather than my phone and come back soon. He politely agreed. This took 20-30 minutes to no avail. There was no email and it was radiculous and I felt exhausted. In the end I instisted that he just charge my card (my reservation said: Pay at the property). I travel a lot. Never had anything like that happen before. It was unexpected. Not welcoming. And the one thing we think should be improved - there was only 1 large pot. Apart of these issues, we recommend the hostel and would stay again."
"This hostel is very clean and quiet. The shared bathroom is clean and kept in a very good condition. The location is convenient to gas station and supermarket."
Henningsvær Bryggehotell - by Classic Norway Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel and awesome restaurant with excellent service - only issue was the front desk was confused and unhelpful about parking and other questions about area. Spending $600-$700 a night would appreciate more than a shrug for our few questions."
"Lofoten Cottages in Nusfjord was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to the Lofoten. The elevated cottages are beautifully designed, spotless, and situated right on the water, offering breathtaking views of the fjord. Waking up to the peaceful scenery in the morning felt almost unreal.
The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was an exceptional experience in itself. The carefully curated selection of fresh, high-quality food was far beyond anything we expected. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making breakfast feel like a luxury dining experience rather than a standard hotel breakfast.
The location in the historic village of Nusfjord makes the experience even more special. The village is charming and picturesque, with beautiful traditional fishing cabins, stunning scenery, and a wonderful bakery. This property is truly special and offers the perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and luxury. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Lofoten.
The restaurant is also a must-visit. Be sure to make a dinner reservation in advance. The combination of cozy surroundings, stunning fjord views, impeccable service, and exceptional cuisine creates a truly elevated dining experience. If you're looking for a memorable and unique place to stay in Lofoten, this is it. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
One question for the team: What brand are the pillows? They were incredibly comfortable and provided some of the best sleep we've had while traveling!"
"We booked the cheapest room which was approx $200. Our cabin was a small, clean room with twin beds and a bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy from the cold outside. The hot water in the shower is limited to 10 minutes which they kindly warn you about, and for us was not an issue. They had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge as well as utensils which was nice. We were able to park right outside the cabin and there were electric vehicle chargers. We did not use the sauna. While everything was clean and communication was easy, I am not sure it is worth the price. It is an extra $100 if you want a harbor view which seems like bigger rooms at least but again not sure if its worth it."
"Staff was helpful, location was good, beds were comfortable, main bathroom was always occupied, this place was just not for us, but can't saying anything or something"
