"Our stay at the Beachcomber Motel was overall relaxing and enjoyable. The view from our 2nd floor room was amazing…when standing up. Unfortunately the Adirondack chairs provided on the balcony are so low, we had to look through the railing when sitting down. The amenities were great and the staff were awesome. Our only other comment would be to upgrade those toddler height toilets to at least standard adult height. The location was good and we appreciated being outside of Mendocino, but close...

"Super cute and clean with nice amenities. Beautiful location, tight but good parking. Cassie, a true local :) recommended a great place for dinner (Sea Pal) and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area! We had some late night owls next door and below us, soundproofing not great but they finally quieted down around 11:00 pm. Would definitely stay here again! "

"I loved this place. The windows are larges with a great view of the ocean. A great walking path behind the Inn. People are friendly and place is clean. My dog and I walked the walkway and hikes towards the ocean. Plenty of parking, My was ready when I got there, the staff was very pleasant. "

"It was ok, but not quite what we had expected/hoped for. Bed/matrass was very comfortable. Lightbulb 1 of the bedside lamps burned out. Bathroom: Sink was not draining, backed up. Kitchenette: not worth the extra $$. No drinking glasses, only 1 fork, no way to wash dishes: no dish drainer, sponge, kitchen towel, pot holder, paper towels, lightbulb in oven and microwave surface light burned out."

"Rooms were a decent size, we had a nice partial ocean view. The property is old, no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up, and typical of a hotel struggling to keep up with the ravages of salt air exposure. It’s not the best but for us a reasonable price option. The property is no where near the photos posted in Expedia. I’m thinking it’s like the reality of meeting that attractively pictured online dating photo taken 15 years earlier. LOL."

"Tgis was false advertising. I paid to stay at the actual hotel and they put me in a conpletely different property. Sort of ruined my birthday. If you see pictures of a beautiful wooden hotel overlooking the ocean and think that worth the extra money do not fall for it. They put me in sone generic building far away painted white just basic like motel 6. I deserve a full refund honestly. "

"This place is a train wreck. I had two rooms reserved. Had my confirmation for weeks. Arrived to be told I only had one room reserved. After I provided my phone so that the employee could read the email confirmation that clearly said I had 2 rooms he finally acquiesced. Then I was told only one king room was available. That’s not what l reserved & was charged for. I was charged for 2 king rooms. 4 adults - one car. We had to leave to find a hotel that could accommodate our needs. The...

"This is a motel 6 so, there was a bed, microwave, tv and mini fridge. However i would not return to this location. The walls and floors are paper thin. For our entire stay we were lucky enough to have people above us stomping on the floor, sounded like the were rearranging funiture and playing music till 3 or 4 in the morning. Who needs an alarm clock when the people on the other side of us woke us up each morning by banging on our wall. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the back patio and open space to the garden, the short walk to a semi-private beach, and the pickle ball courts. The property was well maintained. The renovations and overall design of the room was great too— you can tell they put a lot of thought into it to make sure guests feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their stay."
