"Best place in Croatia, from the rooms, to amenities to food, can’t get better. I will come back every year and stay at President Valamar hotel and tell all my friends and relatives."

"Amazing property, very clean. Staff is amazing . Rooms are brand new."

"The hotel is situated on large grounds among other hotels, trees and paths, some stores and restaurants in a setting that makes you feel you are in a village. However, the hotel is luxurious and very close the Mediterranean beach. I was there for a conference. I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel was fine, and close to the Old Town. The breakfasts were good with a large variety of food. Our room was sufficient for our needs. However, we had an incident that spoiled our arrival and left me with a negative feeling. I didn't know the availability of transportation at night from the airport, so I arranged with the hotel to send us a car and driver to pick us up after we arrived. Our flight from Athens was delayed approximately 30 minutes, however some of that delay was recovered...

"An amazing property and extremely helpful staff. Great location."

"It is located few miles away the old city and has nice ocean views. Decent room size however nothing unique . Being five star hotel was surprised not having hot tubs or heated pools or jacuzzi Rooms had only tubs and height is kind of not easy to navigate . No rain shower or shower stall. No umbrellas in the room or airport shuttle . Simple and Standard queen size bed. Next time I would rather stay close to old town perhaps in a better hotel."

"Convenient minimart at the rear of the hotel."
