"Historic place to stay in the centre of Buxton, very handy for all the sights, bars and restaurants. Room was fine and very comfortable. Public areas a little tired but that didn't detract from our stay. Excellent breakfast."

"A lovely cottage for a couple or small family. Everything you need to look after yourself for your time away. A great base to either sample the delightful area for hiking or more gentle pass times. If eating out is your happy place Buxton comes up trumps. Very enjoyable time we had. Thank you."

"We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed with the overall look of the place but we had booked a suite which the room was not as en-suite was like a broom cupboard. Breakfasts were fantastic and coffe excellent but need to offer other meals such as dinner or afternoon teas which could be quite lucrative for them. Wal was always there for you and offered us one of their fans as hot during our stay and this was very much appreciated by my wife and I. Would book again no problem."
