"We have been visiting this resort for a while now. We enjoy the grounds and having full kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. The few things that needs to be addressed are the very strong cleaning chemical scent in the rooms. The rooms usually need an hour with windows open and fans on full power to make the smell disappear. I am usually not sensitive to this but those who are needs to be aware of this. "I wish I could think of one positive thing to say about my stay here. From problems at check in to being unable to contact anyone at the front desk. No hot water in the bathroom, a refrigerator that wasn’t cold. Putting a desk chair on rollers on a tile floor was a recipe for disaster as it slid out from under me and I fell. It was quiet, yet close enough to walk to town! I loved the colonial decor and atmosphere of my stay and would love to visit again some day!"

"This will be our last stay at a Days Inn property. The facility is run down and poorly maintained. When closed and locked, you could see daylight around the entrance door. Immediately after check-in, we had to go back to the office because the lock on the door was apparently stuck and wouldn't lock when we tried to go to dinner. We had our granddaughter with us and when we unfolded the sofa sleeper for her, the mattress was so stained it was disgusting and we would not allow her to sleep on...

"The facilites are extremely outdated and you are met with a cigarette smell upon entry into the facility. I saw a live roach on the floor I was booked for. the carpet in my room was torn, the shower needed caulking and there was mold on walls. the cigarette smell permeated into my room as well. I was just generally uncomfortable for a $300 2 night stay. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and were the only upside to my stay."

"We’ve stayed in various Colonial Williamsburg properties over the past 50 years. We were disappointed with the Woodlands. The parking lots were filled with potholes and we had to dodge a few to get to our building. The elevator was located off the lobby which required walking a long distance once we reached our floor. A more centrally located elevator would have been much nicer. The room was comfortable and clean. All in all, it was ok, especially for one night, but we won’t stay there again."
