My husband and I come out every August to Alaska. This is our first time staying at a B&B. This was by far our best experience staying in Alaska. Not only was the home cozy, comfortable and has everything you need but the attention to deal And the breakfast was the best. We liked it so much, we stayed another night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shirley and her husband are very kind and helpful. They lent us bells and bear spray to scare any bears away. The breakfast was delicious. It was a pleasure meet them and the place was vey comfortable

The owners Shirley and John were very nice. John lent my husband a fishing pole and lures. Shirley made THE BEST breakfast we had on our trip. The accommodations were very comfortable and we felt right at home! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The Southern Bluff B&B was terrific. Shirley and her husband were great hosts. The apartment was well furnished. We had a hot and cold water dispenser, a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The bed , linens and towels were very nice. Shirley made us a wonderful breakfast and was really fun to talk to about Alaska, family and life! The grounds of the property are beautiful.

Wonderful Place To Stay

This is a incredible place to stay, the hospitality, cleanliness, decor, and convienance is only surpassed by the cooked to order breakfast. If you need a place to stay you won't find better. So comfortable and cozy.
