"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."

"The bed and breakfast is Cowes was in a great location. It was easy to walk to town and parking for our vehicle was provided. The hosts were terrific - providing great recommendations for dinners and things to do. The breakfast was delicious and was a great start to our day. The hosts’ 2 dogs were so CUTE!"

"It's a unique property as it's a historic building, walking distance to Osborne House. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. The restaurant serves excellent food and the breakfast room and lounge are cosy. Our bedroom was large , comfortable and clean. Highly recommend it."

"No door key as all digital, had to use phone which is ok but only gives access to 1 person. Shower temperature was luke warm at it's hottest, shower gel dispenser didn't work. Also the air-conditioning didn't work, had to use the fan instead. Room was noisy due to the adjacent pub."

"Kind of okay, but some of the staff were really bothered if you need anything or ask them a question. At the pub the staff were a bit weird and made us feel not welcomed. Most of them looked very tense and wanted you to get out of their faces quickly. Some of them were good. They should leave more milk bags in the rooms."

"We were disappointed with check in. We arrived around noon and all the staff would tell us is our room is not ready til 3pm. Which was fine but they would not tell us the check in process and were quite rude. Grabbed our luggage and more of or less told us to get lost. Very surprising! I think they make more money by not releasing rooms even if they are ready til 3pm because guests hang around and spend money in the restaurant. "Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good."
