This is a wonderful property and we would love to return someday. Service was great. Breakfast was traditional French, which we loved. Scenery was great with the trout ponds. Was very relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were great as well.

Luxury stay in a castlish building

Great old buildings with a castle-like appearance. Immediate surroundings are nice and quiet. We stayed in the Deluxe Triple Room which is really large and comfortable/luxury restored. Our room did not have a bath as shown on the photos - shower only, but we are OK with that. The restaurant is very nice and has a homey atmosphere: we like that (but bit overpriced - daily fixed menu, no choice). For another restaurant, you need to go back to Verdun (nothing close by of reasonable quality). Location is slightly difficult to find in the dark: limited signs. We were overcharged for charging our electric car (EUR 20, at a public charger it would have been EUR 5). At most hotels in this pricerange, you can charge for free: an unpleasent surpise upon departure is never a good idea when you want a satisfied customer.

Petit voyage pour découvrir la Meuse et sa région. Surprise par le cadre qui convient à merveille aux amateurs de pêche car vous pouvez pêcher dans l'étang. Le plus du domaine est qu'il est petit et que les matelas sont de très bonne qualité.

The Lodge Hotel is a very, very nice property. Our guest was very clean and comfortable. The setting is very beautiful. Please note that breakfast was not included with the room price, and it was very expensive for what was given.

You have to stay here!

We stayed here three nights in November and were incredibly pleased with the stay. The hotel room was thoroughly modern, spacious and very comfortable. The lodge was full of rustic charm and amazing food and hospitality. The hostess spoke great English and was super accommodating. It was a very memorable experience. I highly recommend it.

Country Hotel in a Lovely Setting

The lodge is set next to a lake. The grounds are very attractive, though more landscaping is needed. What was really lovely was our room -- large, modern, filled with light, and spotlessly clean. Also, we enjoyed the dinner they cooked for us, which we ate al fresco. If you like a quiet country hotel, you will like this hotel!

Ein traumhaftes Hotel in einer wirklich ruhigen Lage mit super netten, freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Angestellten. An den angrenzenden Teichen kommt jeder Angler auf seine Kosten. Das Frühstuck ist mega lecker und wirklich empfehlenswert. Das ganze Hotel ist in einem top Zustand - auch wenn der äußere Eindruck auf den ersten Blick vielleicht täuscht. In der Umgebung kann man super mit dem Fahrrad verschieden ansträngende Touren machen. Fazit: Jeder Zeit wieder und gern viel länger.

Beautiful country fishing lodge

The hotel was made up of several possibly 18th century buildings in a charming peaceful park with many lakes where anglers come to fish. The atmosphere was calm and civilized with classic hunting lodge decore in the bar/ lounge. Our room was large, modern and clean in an old building with a tower. The restaurant served a beautiful menu including trout carpaccio fresh from the lake. We stayed two nights and loved everything about this hotel and will return.
