"I stayed at Velero Beach Resort and had a very disappointing experience from the moment I entered my room. Right after checking in, I used the toilet and discovered it was broken. The toilet kept flushing, but the flush mechanism got stuck and caused water to overflow onto the bathroom floor and into the bedroom area.
This was completely unacceptable for a resort hotel. The flooding right after check-in made the start of my stay very uncomfortable.
However, I would like to mention that Wilbert was very helpful during the situation. He quickly sent two employees to help clean up the mess and also arranged a new room for me, which I appreciated.
I expected much better maintenance and quality control from this hotel."
