"This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, we left feeling really nourished by it.
All the staff are very welcoming and pleasant, we had all the help we wanted and it always came cheerfully with a smile.
Fond Doux has a lovely laid back vibe, lush gardens full of birds, lovely to sit out in the evening listening to frogs and crickets calling.
The resort is near to the two Pitons, volcanic hot springs & mud baths, botanical gardens & diamond waterfall, several beaches (a shuttle is provided to Sugar Beach). The Tet Paul Trail is a 30 minute walk up the road (up bring the operative word!) and there is also a ‘Piton View Trail’ within the grounds of Fond Doux which, although steep up and down, is well worth doing. There are two swimming pool areas on the property, both very nice. We didn’t use the sauna or gymn but did join Pilates and Aquarobics which were great.
The food was great, the hotel restaurant has a Carribean night with live music - great on both the Saturdays we were there.
Highly recommended resort if you prefer quiet, private locations in Nature rather than the larger bustling resorts on offer."
"The guesthouse was perfect for our stay in St. Lucia. The unit was very spacious with the most wonderful private balcony. The view was magnificent. Unbeatable! We liked being close to town to wander about. The kitchen was great to do some cooking for ourselves. The restaurant downstairs was nice to have for when we for meals out -breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. The guesthouse helps connect with local tour guides and these tours on land and water with fabulous with trusted drivers and guides Paw Paw and Peter. A ride to and from the airport was arranged and also a trip for grocery shopping. From the guesthouse there is direct to the beach. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service at Still Beach Guesthouse. "
"Amazing New Villa with Breathtaking Views at Caldera Villas in Soufriere!
We recently returned from an unforgettable stay at Caldera Villas, this new villa in Soufriere, St. Lucia, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything about the property feels fresh and modern.
The parking area is large and very convenient, which made coming and going stress-free. But the real highlight is the extraordinary panoramic view from the villa. We woke up every morning to stunning vistas over the colorful town of Soufriere and the majestic Petit Piton (Little Piton) right in front of us.
The apartment was also new, spotlessly clean. The layout felt bright, airy, and very comfortable.
Communication with our host Valna via WhatsApp was outstanding – always fast, responsive and efficient from the first message until checkout.
If you’re looking for a modern, peaceful base to explore the Pitons and Soufriere area, Caldera Villas is an absolute gem. Thank you to Valna for creating such a special place!"
"If you're looking for a small low-key place with phenomenal views and privacy, it's hard to do better than Sam fee Gardens. My wife and I love the room, the relaxed vibe, and many of the friendly staff. The one small inconvenience was very limited food in there tiny store, if you are planning to cook on the premises. Otherwise, truly top-notch all around. The staff was especially helpful in making reservations for dinner and setting up taxi rides as needed."
"Our villa (Lemongrass) was spacious, with all of the basics. They left wine, milk, and coffee to start our trip, along with a special birthday message. Each villa has it's own eclectic vibe. Views and privacy was stellar. Breakfast was lovely. It was great having a full kitchen as well. Dinner at Treetop restaurant was fantastic. Our flight was late and we didn't get a proper check-in and were told someone would follow-up with us the next day. We didn't get that. We also emailed without response. The communication and initial check-in could use some improvement. You need a car or tour/taxi driver to access."
