"I take great care in doing my research before booking each vacation and I had high expectations for this resort. I am happy to say all expectations were absolutely exceeded! This is an astonishingly beautiful and unique spot to stay. Every single staff member was amazingly gracious and welcoming, we enjoyed the food and absolutely loved this stay. The resort attracts very interesting guests and would highly recommend booking the excursions. Prices are reasonable and the drivers are excellent…roads are not for the faint of heart!’ Truly a beautiful island and resort is in the heart of it in every way. Highlight for us was doing the Gros Piton hike, we are in our mid fifties and although a challenge, loved every minute of it (although next day definitely a beach/snorkel/recovery day!) We also really enjoyed the low key yet very talented nightly entertainment, excellent way to end the day! So very thankful to have spent five nights here, cannot wait to to return!"

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "

"If you are looking for a plush resort this is not the place. If you are looking for a place to experience the real Soufriere with friendly staff and owners that make you feel at home this is the place. It is within walking distance of town and many local restaurants. They can get Paw paw to pick you up and he can advise you on good tours and take you around at a reasonable price and not get seasick driving around the curves. Take a tour of the families estate if they offer. It is very interesting. I snorkeled right off the beach there and saw many different fish."
