"We just spent two nights at St James and we loved it. It it right in front lot the Knysna lagoon and offers a great boat ride to all guests, which we enjoyed. We were upgraded on arrival by the very kind staff who man the reception. Knysna is a very interesting destination, we loved the Two Heads excursion to the ocean. We recommend Dt James to all travellers to Knysna and we would like to thank the staff for the very profesional and kind atttitude."

Now on a road trip around South Africa, you get used to warnings about safety and taking care of belongings. "Stayed here 2/19/24 through 2/21. Location and property are absolutely beautiful, but unwalkable from downtown Franschhoek, so you'll need a rental car or us their recommended taxi service via Whatsapp if you plan to drink lots of wine. Uber was not reliable in this area. The staff were very nice and the breakfast options were good, but limited. I would highly recommend this location. "

Auch das Frühstück im Pool House war lecker und alle Angestellten überaus freundlich. Tolles Team! Einen Stern Abzug müssen wir leider geben, da wir mehrfach kein Wasser in unserem Cottage hatten, z.B. auch morgens vor dem Duschen und Zähne putzen. "A very nice place. The check-in, staff in the restaurant etc is so friendly. But it seems a bit run down - especially the swimming pool area and the sun-beds. It's a shame since the garden and the park is such a nice area. "
