"I had booked this hotel for my parents and uncle/aunt. When they reached the hotel, the receptionist/manager said there was no booking. This was a pre paid booking. When I tried to talk to the manager, he refused to talk to me. When I called hotels.com agent and when she tried to do a three ways call, the manager yet again refused to talk. "The so-called hotel is actually a service apartment. THE ROOM ALLOTED TO US WAS SO SMALL THAT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO MOVE AROUND THE BED. THERE WAS NO PROVISION TO MAKE TEA/COFFEE IN THE ROOM. THE APPROACH TO THE APARTMENT AND THE SO-CALLED RECEPTION AREA (!) DO NOT GIVE A WELCOME APPEARENCE AND NEED A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT."

"Basic but good value. Unfortunately a long way from the centre – 45 mins if the traffic is light but up to 90 mins in heavy traffic, so not ideal for tourism. Also make sure you have address and phone no with you as taxis find it difficult to locate. One of the assistant managers – Chow – was excellent and improved our stay immensely.
