"The hotel was good and clean with the rooms being of a good standard. One or two things could be better. The evacuation details on the back of the door was quite high up and small. This made it very difficult to read as I am only 5ft 6in tall. This became important as around 8.30pm there was a fire alarm. "Staff were all very friendly and patient. From reception staff to waiting staff at breakfast. I upgraded to an executive suite and it was really clean and comfortable. "

"This hotel turned out to be quite deceiving. From the outside it looked grand when you walk up to it, but in reality it was tired with a 70s/80s building on the side which is where we stayed. Branded as a spa hotel, the spa side was tiny, old and very dated. The pool was very small, the jacuzzi wasnt working and empty. The sauna was tiny, with a door that was hanging off the hinges and had scraped the floor. In the changing room, very few of the lockers worked. The room we had was very small...

"Check in could be slightly improved if someone was dedicated solely to the front desk. They seemed a bit rushed off their feet with the event on at the same time. More lighting and grit in the car park would be good too. Because of the event on at the time, it was quite a full car park. Being on my own walking through the dark, slippy car park, I didn't feel the most comfortable. More lighting over signage would be helpful to guide around the car park too. "

"Room 319- Staff nice room was clean. However I was surprised we had a skylight, and not a window. There was an automatic window cover, which was fine. Was a bit windy this night and there was a constant noise like a tile lifting or something tapping on the roof, which kept walking us up. Otherwise all good. Didn’t use restaurant or bar, so can’t comment, but they looked very nice. Parking no issue, it is £5 if you book through external site, Expedia etc but it does state this when you book. "

"Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. "
