"I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work! The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market...

"The bath was dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom door, and a dent in it too. The toilet flush failed at one point and there was no maintenance person on site till the morning. Thankfully it rectified itself. No plug in the sink. The TV didn't work, we tested the socket and it was the socket that didn't work. One of the 2 bedside table lamps didn't work (and was an ancient 2 pin plug!) There was no information in the hotel room about facilities, when things opened, when food was etc. There...

"The property is clean, well appointed and quiet."

"Arrived here after driving several hundred miles and having a couple of meetings and so it was so refreshing that the reception staff were a bright and cheery at 8pm and very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and clean with a very comfortable bed. One of the Best showers in any hotel I’ve stayed in and generally excellent. I will definitely stay there again."

"Stayed here for one night and we weren’t disappointed. We stayed in a superior double room which was a lovely large room, extremely comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely view. The room didn’t have air conditioning so got very warm due to the recent heatwave but there was a fan so it was ok and was beyond the hotel’s control. "If I were to book again, I would ask for a ground floor room with air conditioning. The elevator is for luggage only, and a person with limited mobility would find the stairs (although very wide, carpeted and with handrails) a challenge. The restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner. The pool is very nice, heated and outdoors. Very helpful staff. The hotel is apparently a popular wedding venue, it was very busy the day we checked out."
