Diwali and Holi could be the most spoken about festivals of India, but the biggest revelry in Bengal, Durga Pujo festival which takes place for 5 days(apparently) in Autumn is worth the mention to the culture and Art connoisseurs around the world. Being a Bengali,though I’m residing abroad in US for many years now, each year my heart wails and I turn restless if I’m not able to make it to my homeland to get the smell of Autumn and Durga Pujo. It brings me immense pride to introduce you all about the festival in my culture and place of birth. This is the annual celebration of Hindu religion revering the Homecoming of Ma Durga, the Goddess representing Shakti or Female Strength &power. Its a multi day festival that features elaborate temples, pandals(stage decorations) , scriptures, performance arts, fairs, food, oceanic count of crowds and lots of fun. This is that time of the year where artists from every corner of West Bengal come together and put their sweat for months and months in preparing these works of grandeur Art, just to treat our eyes on these special five days in Autumn, Sept/Oct. During this time, people of every age group, religious backgrounds, caste and languages come together to be lost equally in this revelry of absolute food and fun. "I have booked the property online @INR 682. When i reached the property the staff at the reception made me to pay INR 1482. When I asked him he said your room has been upgraded but i was not been notified about it. Moreover non of the staff were coperative and were not polite as well. I had this kind of experience forst time. And even breakfast was included in the booking but they staff denied at the begining and argued with me but then he agreed for the breakfast. Overall i am not satisfied...

"The property is new, and the facilities are well maintained. The property is a bit inside of the main road, so spotting it might be a hassle. The rooms are actually very small in size, and that is an issue(for some, maybe). Also the hotel doesn't allow food from outside(to promote their costly in-room dining facilities), which is a hassle. Overall, the stay is awesome if we don't take into account the small rooms and no outside food policy. Have stayed for only one day, so can't really comment on the cleanliness on a day- to- day basis."
