"The hotel was experiencing some technical difficulties with room keys during our stay. BUT, the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful in a situation that was highly stressful. "Booked the room then read the reviews, and got nervous. Our experience was good. Clean place. Had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the desk. Got checked in and went to the room to find that the a/c was not working. Went and reported it and the maintenance man was there in under 2 minutes. He fixed it but it took forever to cool the room. "This is an interesting place. The mirrors around the bed could definitely be a draw -- they were for me. Just to see them. "The proprietor was friendly and made a special effort to give us a room that was easy to access. The room was very well kept, and immaculately clean. You can tell that things were replaced as soon as necessary, and not wholly renovated, so there is some hodgepodge to the decor, but everything is clean and new. The full fridge came in handy, and there is plenty of room. They make special effort to think of extra touches. We were really impressed. What a great value! "
