"We stayed at the Dextro Hotel in Little Italy for one night, and overall it was an average stay. It met our basic need for a place to sleep, and the location was very convenient. The lobby was nice, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the hotel showed signs of wear and tear and could benefit from better housekeeping. We noticed spills and sticky, dirty footprints in the elevators, and our room wasn't as clean as expected. The floors were unswept, the bathroom sink was grimy and partially clogged, and some of the furniture and decor were dusty and looked worn.
The shower included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but the conditioner dispenser was empty when we arrived. It was disappointing that this wasn't checked before a new guest checked in.
The hotel offers breakfast each morning, but at $25 per person we felt it was overpriced. We opted to eat elsewhere since there are plenty of affordable breakfast options nearby.
On-site parking was convenient but steep at $45 per day. Another downside was the elevators. There are only two serving the guest rooms and parking garages, and they were often crowded, resulting in long waits nearly every time we needed to go up or down.
Overall, this was not a five-star experience, but it served its purpose for a short overnight stay. The staff and location were positives, but improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to detail would make for a much better guest experience."
