"The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. "

I had some trouble finding the door code information (third-party booking with awkward messaging), but the staff on-site was helpful. will absolutely stay here again when I visit SATX"

"This place is a hidden gem! It is in a perfect location to walk to the Riverwalk commercial area, only a few minutes drive to the interstate highways, and has great parking. The owner, Vanessa, and Margaret were courteous, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast options were delicious and they accommodated our son who has food allergies! "hot tub didn't work properly"

"The town of Comfort has great small town vibes taking a person’s memory back to simpler times. We celebrated July 4th here and Hotel Giles was the perfect place to be. The hotel is close to a few eating establishments and very walkable to them. This hotel is clean and historic with very unique rooms. There is a cool courtyard for guests to enjoy.
