"The room was amazing! The view was incredible of the temple! The staff was the most friendliest and attentive that I’ve encountered and that’s saying a lot because most people in Japan are this way! If I ever return to Kyoto I will be staying here!! Love it!"

"I enjoyed my stay at JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI. It's located within a 5-minute from Kyoto Station and has a 7-Eleven which is linked to the main lobby. The main challenge is finding your way out of Kyoto Station which is huge and confusing but no fault of the hotel! :) The room was a good size (not big but comfortable) and had a writing desk which made it easy for me to do my work and have my takeout meals. At the ground floor lift lobby, there's a sort of "buffet table"...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Shinkansen station and is centrally located near many popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The air conditioning worked perfectly — a big plus after a warm day of sightseeing! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and like everywhere in Japan, the customer service was top notch. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, and the process was smooth and easy to arrange....

"Lovely and very clean hotel! The staff were extremely respectful and courteous throughout our stay. We appreciated the breakfast options — both the French set menu and the buffet were excellent. My family also loved the convenient location, close to Kyoto Station, shopping malls, and popular tourist attractions.
