"Beautiful old historical hotel. I hope the new owners respect the history and don’t change the hotel too much. The Menger is a San Antonio treasure and needs to be preserved. Not modernized. I have gone there for 45 years. "

"Fun to be right on the river. Appreciated the restaurant set up. Valet parking was not very efficient though. "

"Room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I was excited that the laundry room was right outside our door pretty much because by the time we got there and the time we left, laundry needed to be done and we had no trouble accessing it. The breakfast each day was really delicious. Desk staff was very accommodating as well."
