"Rooms still reeked of cigarette smoke, even though they are 100% against it. Whatever place this was before them clearly allowed smoking in the rooms. You know how putrid that can be, once a room is smoked in, it'll never be the same.
Room keys unprogrammed themselves every morning so we had to go back to the front desk to have them programmed again. Very inconvenient.
Shower was sufficient, water flow was strong! Nice surprise.
Bed was TOO SOFT. Very plush and uncomfy. Can feel where other's have slept in because there were springs that were obviously too compressed. Barely slept.
The Tiki bar was cute, small area, but the patio where the entertainment is was fairly large. Good selection of drinks! Bartenders were fun and personable. Just remember, you're on camera at the bar so behave yourselves!
Overall, decent place, great price."
"This hotel has two buildings. One right at the beach and a main property across from the beach. I stayed across from the beach, and it's a walk when you are lugging beach stuff. If you forgot something in your room, be prepared to walk. The bathroom is beautiful, but the layout is not convenient. Because there are no doors or a curtain, the water pressure is horrible. By the second day, I was missing my shower, which has great water pressure. They only offer valet, which personally, I do not like. They have a refrigerator in the room, but it's behind closed doors, which prevents the refrigerator from cooling at all. I had to leave the door open for the refrigerator to work correctly. I also had to leave a note, so the cleaning people do not close it. The light switch is horrible. If you have the lights on and just want to roll over and turn them off to go to sleep, forget it; you have to stand up to turn them off. "
"First impressions can make or break a stay. When pulling up to check in, the valet attendant lets you know you can’t park in the front and is less than helpful when asking where to park so you can check in. The resort is pretty big and it isn’t obvious where to park and you can’t park until you get your key from checking in. The resort does not take cash but many of the employees prefer cash tips, plan to charge to your room. There is a 45$ night resort fee as well as 28 self parking or 36 for valet nightly parking charge. I wish it was included in the original price so there aren’t hidden surprises. There is an amazing hot tub on the roof and you can watch spectacular sunsets. The roof pool is only 4 feet deep but beautiful. The downstairs pool is nice and a bit deeper. The pools did close randomly for private events and we did have to change plans more than once. Restaurants are okay but have limited options and aren’t always open, food is delicious. They are varied hours and days of operation. You may think you are going to eat a specific meal and looking forward to it but it may not be open on that day or at that particular time. There are many bar areas. The rooms are okay, good size and clean. We were on the top floor of the main building and the water in the shower was scorching hot. If you like it hot, hot, then you will enjoy. If you don’t then only a trickle of water so you don’t burn yourself. Everyone is friendly. It is okay but was a bit disappointed at times."
"A would love to say our stay was terrible to keep this hidden gem to ourselves but can not lie Hotel was one of the nicest cleanest quiet facilities I have ever stayed Every one of the staff was absolutely great and plan on utilizing as a long term stay option is in the hub of everything"
