"This past weekend, my boyfriend and I stayed at Sunseeker Resort for our anniversary and had a great time overall. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate, but a few issues would make us reconsider staying again.
On Friday, we asked the front desk about reserving lounge chairs at the Level Blue pool and were told reservations weren’t being taken for Saturday. However, when we arrived, we were told reservations were required, and everything, including the waitlist, was full. Thankfully, we found space at the bar and still enjoyed the day, but clearer communication at check-in would have helped.
We also tried the main pool but couldn’t find any shaded seating. It would be nice if pools stayed open later, as they closed right at sunset.
Food was good but overpriced; $65 for breakfast for two at Half Cracked felt excessive, and while drinks at Level Blue were great, prices were high.
Our room was lovely, and we appreciated the tech features, especially the easy TV casting.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the amenities didn’t match the cost. A $45 daily resort fee and $28 parking felt unreasonable, especially when we couldn’t access lounge chairs. The staff, however, were welcoming and excellent."
"We liked the hotel so much, so we expended our stay in there. All the staff members went above and beyond to help us to feel comfortable and welcomed. We are so grateful to Julio, Harleen, JeAnna, Tyler, Ishak, and Ian for all the help and friendly manners. The hotel has a very modern design . We loved our room, which was very clean. Also, we enjoyed a hot tub after a long day. They even let us borrow some towels to bring on a beach. The location is perfect: short walking distance from the airport and interesting landmarks. If we ever return to Sarasota, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.
"
"As a paying guest of the hotel, going to the beach was a process. The hotel should have designated trams for hotel guests and not make them wait in line for 20 to 30 minutes with the rest of the crowd. Also, if you rent a cabana you should be able to have food service in the cabana. Again waiting in line for 45 min to an hour to buy food when you have paid $245 for a cabana is ridiculous. "
"We are fans of the Hilton brand, but this particular product was terrible. It is a motel, with exterior halls and all, with a Hilton label. The room is loud and dirty. The walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbors' conversation (at normal conversation volume) as if they were in the room with us. You could hear the traffic and sirens outside. The shower fluctuated in temperature so violently that I narrowly escaped being scalded, especially after spending the first part of my shower freezing. There was black mold on the ceiling. The window of the room looks out onto the exterior hallway, so people walking by can see into your room. It is awkward. There is something wrong with all the outlets and USB ports, where neither of our phones was able to fully charge; I have an iPhone, and my husband has an Android. We tried multiple chargers, from wireless to the USB chargers in the room, using our own charging blocks, and we could not get our phones to fully charge from ANY of the outlets. The room is overpriced. This is definitely a motel, and Hilton should be ashamed of this product. "
