"Location is convenient and the lodging is very well kept. Staff was helpful at check-in. Very clean and simple space, and cozy country charm. The room was comfortable. They have extra down comforter blankets instead of the typical fabric blankets found in most hotels, which was a nice surprise! Cookies and coffee in the lobby were yummy. Continental breakfast was super yummy.
Our only warning to other guests is to get clear communication on the shuttle to the Jackpot Junction casino. We were excited to go to a concert there and took the shuttle there at 6:30 pm, under the impression we would have a shuttle to take us back afterwards. The communication between Redwood lodge, the shuttle service and the casino is very poor. Noone could give us a clear answer as to how to access a shuttle after the concert. We happened to see a couple we had met earlier that day and they gave us a ride back to the lodge, otherwise we would have had to pay for an Uber to get back or just wait around to see if a shuttle showed up. Make sure to clarify before using a shuttle!
Other than that, the experience staying at the Redwood Lodge was great and we would recommend it to others!"
