"First time visiting here, even though we only live a shortish distance away. Can't believe we haven't been there before! Such friendly helpful staff. The room was immaculate, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was also delicious. We will definitely return, as we want to try the Spa facilities."

"I spent the most wonderful week at Little Lemhill Farm Cottage. The cottage is on a beautiful Cotswold farm, that is surrounded by beautiful gardens, trees and a pond. It's very quiet and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and linens. Melanie is a wonderful, welcoming host, who provided a very helpful welcome book, chock full of great recommendations for restaurants and tips for the local areas. Her recommendations were spot on. "This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!"

"We loved residing next to the rushing Mill river. It was a unique experience and very soothing. We felt like we were living in the country and yet we could take a short stroll to the main street with various shops...each having unique merchandise.This was one of our best locations and accommodations during our year of traveling. The laundry room was extremely helpful. We can't say enough about the welcome, the help and the cottage itself.Our dog, Zoe, loved this place also!"
