"The lodge and all the workers were very respectful, helpful and attentive. They made our stay (7 nights) amazing. The Latchstring restaurant had wonderful and tasty food. We ate breakfast everyday and had several dinners and ate a variety of starters and entrees. All very delicious! There was a stream behind the lodge with lots of fish to either watch or catch and several cool trails with amazing sites. If visiting the Spearfish, Deadwood, etc area, then I highly recommend a stay."

"Breakfast didn’t accommodate my dietary restrictions. Missing light bulb in bathroom. Obviously undergoing some renovations, but not in rooms, which were middling for price. Folks were for friendly, but couldn’t overcome physical shortcomings."
