"We love history and this hotel is awesome from an historical viewpoint. If you need a coffee maker in the room, our room did not. If you need a couch this room doesn’t have one. If you want awesome ambiance with a beautiful slice of history, I highly recommend this hotel. Not much of a breakfast, but don’t miss the City Limit restaurant just on the edge of town!"

"Breakfast wasn’t great - no toaster and ‘fake’ eggs and protein. The mattress was really hard - like an old coil spring and the frame was metal and made a ton of noise. Barely any blankets. The room felt very damp. It was clean so but otherwise not the most comfortable stay."

"Property was just ok cleanliness wise. Breakfast area could have been cleaner. I had to ask for the syrup for waffle as it wasn’t out on the counter. Coffee pot in room was in the bathroom counter 3 feet from the toilet. This was a huge turnoff. Plenty of room in the sleeping area for the coffee service so not sure why it was in the bathroom counter"

"Everything was gross. The room smelled of sewer. The bedding wasn’t clean. The bathroom light didn’t work. The roof was coming off. I would never stay here again. We only ended up staying one of the two nights we booked. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room."

"The outside looks great but once I opened the door to our room we were greeted with the strong horrible smell of cat urine!!!! Had to use half the bottle of dawn air freshener to get the room to a tolerable smell. The tv in the bedroom only had 4 working channels and the tv in the living room had no working remote! Pool was great and will stay for breakfast maybe I’ll add another review if it’s great if not won’t be another review."

"It was a busy weekend for this motel as a Vietnam Biker group met in convention here. All these guests were cordial and all went well for our stay. The staff provided great hospitality, and the breakfast was nicely supplied, even with the 'crowd' of guests who stayed that day. Our room was nice and comfortable, the bed was supportive, and the AC worked well! Thanks for a great stay! "
